Welcome to the Crazy Quilter Retreat Center!

We want to do our best to make your retreat a memorable experience. To help us do that, we would appreciate your careful reading and respond to this registration contract

Your Stay With Us

We can comfortably accommodate up to 20 guests. Alternative sleeping arrangements can be made for additional guests but may involve the Quilting Library’s queen size “hide a bed”,  sharing a full-size bed or a mattress on the floor.

We have no minimum guest requirement, however, if your group is 5 or smaller, we would appreciate your willingness to share common space with another small group should the situation arise.

The bedrooms are spaced with two at one end and two at the other end, and the workstations can be split up pretty easily for two groups. You would mainly be sharing space at mealtimes, in the spa room and the upstairs common room. Before booking concurrently with another group we would contact you for your agreement.

Meals

We own a commercial kitchen in a building we own downtown so we are able to provide meals. Because I am short staffed I am moving to 1 or 2 meals per day to be provided (there is a 5 person minimum per meal and 3 meal minimum per retreat). Of course, you are always welcome to bring your own food and prepare it at our retreat kitchen. We try to always provide healthy organic meals and will accommodate any dietary requirements (ex:  gluten free, dairy free etc) with advance notice.  We hate to raise prices however, with the cost of food doubling we are forced into it.

Meal prices:
  • Continental breakfast $7
  • Brunch $16
  • Lunch $14
  • Dinner $19

Spa

Our spa room includes a separate bathroom with shower, sauna, 7-person hot tub, massage table, exercise equipment, and salon. Professional salon and massage services are available for an additional charge. Please let us know well in advance to schedule any appointments for professional services.
Prices:
Hands on full body massage:  $70/hr
Pedicures:  $40
Manicures:  $35
Haircuts:  $25

Accommodations

Your overnight fee includes your bed, linens, one bath towel, one hand towel, and one washcloth, a work station, the use of the steam showers, the hot tub, infrared sauna, massage table, exercise equipment, paper products, use of the cooking and eating areas, use of two big-screen TVs with BluRay movies and karaoke system.

November 20th - 23rd, 2024
Hosted Retreat with a Healthy Twist
The most common question I get is how do I do all that I do?!?   I would love the opportunity to share some of the things that I study every day and try hard to implement in my life.  I love feeling wonderful and would like to help anyone interested in finding ways for you to feel great every day too!  It will be structured with a bunch of mini-classes covering a variety of topics so you can pick and choose what you want to sit in on.  I am not an "expert" in any one field (well, except birth and breastfeeding) but I love to study and help others find things to help their situations.  I don't diagnose or prescribe and I'm not just trying to sell anything but there are some products that I have found that do wonders.  I'm not pushing any agenda or any one company - I just like to help people.
Here are some topics that I'll probably cover:

Breastfeeding - even though you may be past this part of your life there are always daughters and grand daughters that may need help and support!
Birth - again, you may be past this phase of life but we all have someone we can support with good information!
Vaccines - This is a touchy subject but you may want to know more about what is being shot into your body and what are the alternatives?
Sweeteners - which ones are good or bad?!?  How do they affect your body?
Diet - What is a "good" diet?  How do I tell which foods are good for me?
Supplements - There are so many out there - where do you begin?
Essential Oils - what are they and how do they work?
Homeopathy - What is it?

This is just a start - give me ideas of what you would like to hear about
or just come and have fun sewing!!
